The current Project
Insufficent education, and food shortage are the main causes for poverty and diseases especially in countries of the third world. The situation in Burkina Faso (West Africa) is eminently dramatic.

Thats why Déborah Rosenkranz decided to support the aid organization “Helfen was sonst e.V.” (Help – what else). Wherever she is, Deborah Rosenkranz is actively fundraising for them. Not only large sums of money are important: “Also many little donations, for example at my concerts, will move something for the long haul”, says Deborah Rosenkranz. She says further: “To guarantee that the people there can survive, additional donations are needed. Because the misery is now! And not only tomorrow.

Food shortage
According to the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) the current Food situation in Burkina Faso is not a temporary Crisis, it is the longterm cause of different evolutions. To fight hunger in Burkina Faso support via aid projects like Helfen – Was sonst ist really important. For soil, water, nutrients and energy it is needed that aid projects for an intelligent use are implemented. At the moment, farmers there are not able to produce more and better food.

Education
75% of the people in Burkina Faso have no possibilities to visit a shool. Because the country is one of the poorest in the world, school fees are unaffordable for most of them.

With this project you support the construction of a school in the Capital of Burkina Faso  for 6 classes and 3 preschool classes. The entire school will facilitate a better life for 700 children. The construction of the bulding will cost something about 60.000 EUR. Maintenance will be paid via school fees. The premise with 215278 square feet is already purchased.

Helfen – was sonst e.V. has been founded to support people in need around the world. Helfen – was sonst e.V. is registered in the official German Society Register at the district court in Stockach Germany (Nbr. VR 304-ST).
