The first steps!
At the age of nine, Déborah Rosenkranz discovered her passion for music. She started singing in the local church choir. At that time she couldn’t imagine that it would turn out this good. At the choir she had to fight with high tone’s and admired her older brothers and parents. Only three years later Déborah Rosenkranz started a tour throughout Europe with a Pop-Rock-Gospel Choir having concerts every evening, soon as the youngest soloist by far.

At her seventeenth birthday a friend started performing at the piano when Déborah Rosenkranz spontaneously grabbed the microphone and her brothers supported them with their instruments. This was the hour of birth of the “Mercy Seat”. The first real career boost for the young girl with German and French roots.

The First Flight!
At the same time she started her career as a flight attendant for a Swiss airline. Not only a job for Déborah Rosenkranz. It was a real second passion.

The first appearances as front woman of „Mercy Seat“ became more often and also more international. The upfront texts about hope and the meaning of life excited people all over Europe at gigs in Germany, France, Switzerland and the Netherlands. Among other things in prisons. “At the beginning it was awkward, especially when I entered the stage in a men prison and felt the glances at me, but through our texts, the people got so touched and emotionally moved that I could have burst with joy.” Déborah Rosenkranz started winning one song contest after another and became in great demand even as a solo artist.

Stop over!
Despite her first success and TV appearances Déborah Rosenkranz decided to take a break and studied music and leadership in Sydney. The year in Australia changed her and since her return, it is going nicely for Déborah Rosenkranz.

Restart!
With her spontaneous nature and her great voice she does not only excite people at concerts with her band or as soloist at events and conferences but also everywhere she is else.

Be it in a cinema where she replaces together with her brothers unprompted the interlude or at her daily work high above the clouds as Flight Attendant for Austrian airline InterSky. On a return flight from Italy she catched attention by performing with a guitarist who was coincidentally on that flight.

Short time later she performed in Vienna within the scope of a beauty contest. Officially as the first singing flight attendant. She sang her own song “Mercy Seat” and Hits of Mariah Carey and Gloria Gaynor. The Appearance was a big success. Soon as she disappeared from stage, Déborah Rosenkranz got called from many people. It did not take long time to lay the foundation for her further musical career.  Her outstanding talent and her exceptional voice had been discovered.

Flying Above!
After several TV appearances including Stefan Raab (TV Total), her first Christmas album “xMas Edition” came out.

The singles “Flying Above”, “Whispered Prayer” and “Little Secret” are already available in all big Online Music Stores.

The Music of Déborah Rosenkranz sires of many different influences, which cannot be matched with a specific genre. She says: “It is a mixture of jazzy, rocking Rhythms, mingled with a little bit soul, a lot of power and authenticity.” Her Texts are based on personal experiences, hopes, and feelings and testify a positive attitude to life.

Social Engagement!
With her Song „Feel The Power“ she supports the Anti-Violence Campaign “Wahre Helden – Stars gegen Gewalt” (True Heroes – Stars against Violence). As one of the many famous Supporters of the Project, she presented the song for the very first time at the inauguration of the Gerd-Müller Stadium in Noerdlingen. The especially for the Campaign produced hymn shall give victims of bullying and acts of violence new bravery.

Because social engagement means a lot for the avowing christian Déborah Rosenkranz she proves this by supporting the Project kids2kids. The project is about a number of beneficial concerts at which Déborah Rosenkranz performs together with 110 members of an African gospel choir the “Capetown Children Choir”.

For the preparation of this tour she travelled together with her producers to Cape Town in September 2008. The revenues of the very successful tour in December 2008 had been donated to several projects which support children in need of help. The tour reached 25.000 people in 6 cities.

Also Déborah Rosenkranz supports the Charity Project “Helfen – Was sonst!?” (Help – what else?!) since fall 2009. The Project takes care of the building and maintaining of a school in Burkina Faso, West Africa. Déborah Rosenkranz collects donations and appears as ambassador of the project.

Current Issues!
At the moment Déborah Rosenkranz is finishing work on her first german speaking Album. Instantly the recordings for the first English Album follow. The Album is made in cooperation with the musicians of “Söhne Mannheims”. Also a new production of the title song “feel the power” for the anti violence campaign “Wahre Helden – Stars gegen Gewalt” is planned which involves also the “Söhne Mannheims”.

There is also a book about anorexia and bulimia in the development with very personal insights of Déborah Rosenkranz. The Book makes its first appearance together with the appropriate Single and will be in stores in 2011.

At least there is a Worship-Album planned which among other things will be developed in the USA. That Album also appears in 2011.
